Processor - CPU  A  central processing unit  ( CPU ), also called a  central processor  or  main processor , is the  electronic circuitry  within a  computer  that executes  instructions  that make up a  computer program . The CPU performs basic  arithmetic , logic, controlling, and  input/output  (I/O) operations specified by the instructions in the program. The computer industry used the term "central processing unit" as early as 1955. [1] [2]  Traditionally, the term "CPU" refers to a  processor , more specifically to its processing unit and  control unit  (CU), distinguishing these core elements of a computer from external components such as  main memory  and  I/O  circuitry. [3] The form,  design , and implementation of CPUs have changed over the course of their history, but their fundamental operation remains almost unchanged. Principal components ...

Antivirus Software Antivirus software , or  anti-virus software  (abbreviated to  AV software ), also known as  anti-malware , is a  computer program  used to prevent, detect, and remove  malware . Antivirus software was originally developed to detect and remove  computer viruses , hence the name. However, with the proliferation of other kinds of  malware , antivirus software started to provide protection from other computer threats. In particular, modern antivirus software can protect users from: malicious  browser helper objects  (BHOs),  browser hijackers ,  ransomware ,  keyloggers ,  backdoors ,  rootkits ,  trojan horses ,  worms , malicious  LSPs ,  dialers ,  fraudtools ,  adware  and  spyware . [1]  Some products also include protection from other  computer threats , such as infected and malicious  URLs ,  spam ,  scam  ...

Programming Language A  programming language  is a  formal language , which comprises a  set of instructions  that produce various kinds of  output . Programming languages are used in  computer programming  to implement  algorithms . Most programming languages consist of  instructions  for  computers . There are programmable machines that use a set of  specific instructions , rather than  general programming languages . Early ones preceded the  invention of the digital computer , the first probably being the automatic flute player described in the 9th century by the  brothers Musa  in  Baghdad , during the  Islamic Golden Age . [1]  Since the early 1800s, programs have been used to direct the behavior of machines such as  Jacquard looms ,  music boxes  and  player pianos . [2]  The programs for these machines (such as a player piano's scrolls) did not pr...

How to unfreeze a frozen screen on any Windows version? There are 3 methods: Method 1. Press ESC key once or twice. This method rarely works but there is still a chance. Method 2. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del combination and choose Start Task Manager.  The Task Manager lists the names of currently running programs, including the one that’s not responding.  On the Processes tab, click the name of the program which stuck and then click the End Task button. You lose any unsaved work in that program, of course, but you should be used to that. Sometimes it can be explorer.exe program. End this program then go to File > New task. Write explorer.exe and hit enter. Method 3. If the previous methods didn't work, shut down computer by pressing its power buton for 3-5 seconds.
